The Ferret Cable Driver, also sold as the Wattmaster Blue Tongue, is an 8 metre fibreglass rod for running cables through wall cavities, suspended ceilings and tight spaces where you cannot get a hand in.
The rod holds its shape rather than bending or buckling under load, so it keeps travelling in the direction you point it, yet still bends where you want it to. Glow-in-the-dark guide wheels help it ride over obstacles and sharp edges in dark cavities instead of snagging. It uncoils easily and stays straight in use, which means one person can push a run through on their own without a second set of hands at the far end.
